Struggling with Golf Try Hypnosis
For regular readers of this blog, you will have noticed that I try to write on serious psychological subjects. Today’s entry follows along, but for only a certain number of the population, today I want to mention hypnosis for golf improvement.
Golf is a wonderful sport and a great way to get and remain physically healthy. For many it becomes their “life”, and with good reason. Golf is a wonderful way to socialise by being a member of a club of like minded people all sharing a common interest. It is perfectly logical that golf is an important part of some people’s lives.
Having been a caddie and a scratch golfer in my youth, I can understand a person’s desire to improve their game. After all the lessons, and time on the range, what about spending time in the consulting room? Many professional golfers would say that golf is 10% physical and 90% mental. As this is the case, hypnosis is a wonderful way for a person to improve their mental game.
Competition pressure, negative thoughts and even the putting yips, can be helped through a course of hypnotherapy. Using the unconscious mind to rehearse their game, gives a player the edge. Professionals use it, why not you?
