If you look for hypnosis on line, the first most common thing you will find is clinical hypnosis, then stage, then sadly, erotic hypnosis. Erotic hypnosis is a fantasy about hypnosis being used to enhance a person’s sexual prowess or alternatively to be used as a means of domination. In this scenario, a person is forced to do things under hypnosis that they would not want to do under normal circumstances.
This is a very sad state of affairs. Hypnosis is a tool that in the hands of a properly trained clinician can be used to help treat a plethora of issues, however, when it is diminished in this way, it makes it more difficult for people who could genuinely use the help from getting it.
Hypnosis cannot control a person, if it could, it would be the most legislated technology on earth. Of course people have fantasies that is normal and healthy.
