Communication and Hypnotherapy
Communication is one of the cornerstones of therapy, well in life as well. How express ourselves has a major impact as to how we interact with the world. All too often this is also a major issue that people come to therapy for. A lack of being able to express oneself (real or precieved) is often what brings people to therapists like myself.
Therapy can provide the space for a person to learn to be more comfortable with this issue. After all, therapy is meant to be a safe space for personal expression, so the therapeutic processes can be used to model how things can be in the real world.
Hypnotherapy can be a very effective tool in determining why people have difficulty with communication. Using regressive approaches root cause can be found. This can often lead to the necessary insight that builds up to therapeutic resolution. Hypnotherapy is also useful in helping a client to visualise their outcome using future progression. Future progression is when a client can see what their future will be like, obviously there is an element of imagination and fantasy needed. However, if a person cannot imagine a result then they will not be able to achieve it.
