Hypnotherapists Need to be Mindful of Where They Get Their Advice
As we have entered into the New Year, many practitioners are thinking about how they will grow their practises in 2019. This is quite similar to the plans of most business people. With the advent of the internet, there appears to be a groundswell of “experts” in this particular area of work.
Now, I should say at this point, this post is not directed toward anyone in particular, it is merely a general observation. Many practitioners are struggling, not with their skills as a professional, but their skills in running a business is weak. This can lead to far too many good practitioners leaving the field prematurely.
Running a business is not easy and it takes earnest work. There are no quick and easy solutions in our particular field. In truth, what works for me may not work for others. As our interventions are bespoke, so it must be for how we run our practises. In other words, one size does not fit all.
If you are looking to grow your practice this year, get as much information as you can. There is a plethora of free advice available on line. Before you pay “experts” to help you grow your practice, see what expertise you can glean yourself. You will thank yourself in the long run.
