Indeed spending lesson time in helping students to learn about how to feel good about themselves. Happiness as part of the National Curriculum is becoming the reality. People in my line of work have been calling for such things for years.
Sometimes people get the wrong idea about self esteem, it is not about being full of oneself. Rather it is about having a strong sense of self. That is to say that you have an understanding of one’s strengths as well as their weaknesses. Being honest about both is the best way to grow and develop.
Hypnotherapy is an excellent way to assist people in developing this personal honesty with themselves and through this process, people can learn to have a greater sense of personal well being, whilst still acknowledging that there is work to be done. Humankind is a work in progress in which we never truly get to complete, it is one of the great challenges that makes life worth living. With hypnotherapy it is possible to make the challenge more enjoyable.
