One of the Most Effective Parts of a Hypnotherapy Session
I work with many different clients for many different issues, one thing however seems to be a universal bit of feedback, no matter what a client comes in with they find the relaxation part of the hypnosis session to be highly beneficial. This got me to thinking, “why would this be the case?”
Of course the answer is obvious, most of us, myself included, do not take enough time in the day to look after ourselves. Oh yes, we watch what we eat, we exercise, we work, we spend time with family and friends, but what about spending time just being with ourselves. A moment of the day where we simply focus on nothing but relaxation.
We all know that stress is a major health risk and that people who take care of their stress levels are likely to live longer and happier than those who don’t. The first part of my hypnotic sessions are about relaxation, and many people over the years have commented that they found this as useful as the therapy itself. I tell them that the two things are inextricably linked, because you cannot accept permanent change in an agitated state, so the relaxation part of a hypnotic session sets the scene for people to change their lives for the better.
