University Education: I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Education from Liverpool John Moores University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision from Derby University, a Certificate in Education, Manchester University (Assignments based on course of Hypnotherapy I designed and deliver), and an Associateship Diploma from the College of Teachers and Licentiateship in Training and Development, City and Guilds of London Institute.

Fees: My fees for therapy are £70 per session, in Manchester and online (via Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp). Credit and Debit Cards are accepted and cheques are made payable to Brookhouse Hypnotherapy Ltd. There may be a charge for cancelled appointments not made within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
My Approach: I use an integrated/outcome oriented approach to therapy, which incorporates humanistic psychotherapeutic approaches as well as hypno-psychotherapy to assist in therapeutic change. I use traditional, Ericksonian, and Analytical Techniques within my hypno-psychotherapy approach. Sessions are recorded where appropriate.
In recognition of the knowledge, experience, training and education in working with survivors of traumatic events and/or crisis management, Shaun was granted Diplomate Status within the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
Since 2001 I have been providing supervision for hypnotherapists in Manchester as well as throughout the UK. Sessions can be face to face, one to one, groups or on Zoom, WhatsApp, SKYPE or FaceTime. I provide supervision in accordance with the requirements for practitioner registered with UKCP, NSTT, NCH, NCPS and HS as well as other professional bodies for hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.
I have recently completed a specialist certification programme in Clinical Traumatology in order to assist my clients with PTSD more effectively. Trauma work requires specialist training beyond a practitioner's initial training.
I have presented courses, seminars, after dinner speeches and workshops in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and the Far East on various aspects of hypnosis and psychotherapy.
